1. Participation Eligibility
1.1. Participation in the Beyond The Runway fashion show event (hereinafter referred to as “the Event”) is open to individuals who meet the eligibility criteria specified by the Organizer.
1.2. Participants must be at least 18 years old to participate in the Event.
2. Code of Conduct
2.1. All participants and attendees are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner at all times during the Event.
2.2. Harassment, discrimination, bullying, or any other form of inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in immediate disqualification or removal from the Event premises.
3. Registration and Fees
3.1. Registration for the Event may require payment of a registration fee, which is non-refundable unless otherwise specified by the Organizer.
3.2. Registration fees must be paid in full by the specified deadline to secure participation in the Event.
4. Cancellation and Refunds
4.1. The Organizer reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the Event at its sole discretion.
4.2. In the event of cancellation or rescheduling, registered participants may be entitled to a refund of their registration fees, subject to the Organizer’s refund policy.
5. Intellectual Property
5.1. Participants retain ownership of the intellectual property rights associated with their designs, creations, and contributions to the Event.
5.2. By participating in the Event, participants grant the Organizer a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and distribute their intellectual property solely for the purposes of promoting and organizing the Event.
6. Health and Safety
6.1. Participants and attendees must comply with all health and safety guidelines and protocols established by the Organizer and venue management.
6.2. The Organizer shall not be held liable for any loss, injury, illness, or damage resulting from non-compliance with health and safety guidelines.
7. Media and Photography
7.1. The Organizer reserves the right to photograph, videotape, or otherwise record the Event and its participants for promotional and archival purposes.
7.2. Participants and attendees may be photographed or recorded during the Event, and their likeness may be used in promotional materials without further consent.
8. Miscellaneous
8.1. These policies constitute the entire agreement between participants, attendees, and the Organizer regarding participation in the Event and supersede all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.
8.2. These policies shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
8.3. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these policies shall be resolved exclusively by the courts of Harris County.
